My credit rating was not very good at all when I applied for a payday loan with Uncle Buck. That didn’t stop me being approved though despite the defaults and a County Court Judgment on my credit file. I suppose their main concern is that you will be able to afford to repay it back on your next pay day.

My Application to Uncle Buck

The application with Uncle Buck was very easy and straight forward and no different from some of the other payday loan lenders I have used in the past. It didn’t take long to complete and I received confirmation that my loan request had been approved.

Speed of Fund Transfer

The funds transfer was relatively quick with the funds appearing a couple of hours later into my bank account. This is pretty common now with payday loan lenders so I wouldn’t have expected any different to be honest. Some other payday lenders still charge for a faster transfer so be wary of that when you apply.

The dreaded deferral of my Uncle Buck Payday Loan

As usual I did defer my payday loan with Uncle Buck a few times meaning I just paid the interest due for that month. It mean’t the overall loan cost was quite high. Requesting a deferral was easy enough and was processed with the minimum of fuss.

As I say in a lot of these payday loan reviews, make sure you can comfortably pay back your payday loan on your next payday. Deferring just prolongs the agony, costs you money and can spiral out of control if you are not careful so keep that in mind before applying.
