Time for another debt balance update. This month the debt balance stands at £47,094.23. This is a decrease of £1321.19 which is some good progress. Still a very long way to go but hopefully this time next year we will reach the £40k mark.

In terms of debts things have been quite quiet this month. Only one debt has moved about and that’s the MBNA debt which has yet again moved from Wescot back to Arrow Global. I have no idea why they have done this again so I have made a complaint to them as it seems silly.

My complaint with Payday Express was concluded and I was compensated for what happened which was good news. You can find out more reading my post about Payday Express.

I still have no idea what has happened to my debt with orange. I haven’t heard anything from them about it so nothing has been paid to that for a couple of months now.

Plans for Next Year

This update is the last debt balance update for this year. Time has flown by this year and I am pleased with the progress that has been made towards the debt. I hope to settle a couple of my debts next year and finish the year with around £40k owed. This seems like a realistic goal so hopefully this time next year that’s what will be owed.

I only met one of the targets I set last year but that’s better than nothing. I will write a post in the new year listing what I hope to achieve next year with my debts.

I will also be performing a debt balance check in the new year to make sure what I expect I owe is correct. I tend to carry out this exercise around every six months or so in case of any discrepancies and forms part of my keeping on top a debt management plan routine.

Thanks for reading this year. Have a great Christmas and New Year and finally, Good luck with your debts. If you need any help with your debts then please visit the Debt Advice or Debt Help pages on this blog.
